Privacy Policy
This website runs on very little data. There is no shop, no user account, and no third-party advertising. What we process and why is explained here in plain language.

Hosting: Cloudflare Pages
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, a service of Cloudflare, Inc. (USA). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and we have a data processing agreement with Cloudflare under Art. 28 of the GDPR (DSGVO), the European data protection law.
When you open the page, Cloudflare processes technically necessary server logs — for example your IP address, the date and time of your visit, and the browser you used. This is needed to deliver the page and to protect it from attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Web analytics: GoatCounter
To know how many people visit the page, we use GoatCounter. GoatCounter works without cookies and builds no personal profiles — it only counts anonymous page views. That is why no consent is required for it, and why you see no cookie banner on this site.
Email waiting list: Brevo
If you join the waiting list on the home page, we store your email address with Brevo, a European email provider. The sole purpose is the one-time notification when PhotoLifeboat launches.
Signing up uses double opt-in: you first receive a confirmation email, and only after you click the confirmation link are you on the list. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw that consent at any time — every email from us contains an unsubscribe link, and one click is enough.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right at any time to:
- access the data stored about you,
- have incorrect data corrected,
- have your data erased,
- object to processing,
- complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
A short, informal email to the address above is all it takes.
No cookies, no tracking pixels
This website sets no cookies and uses no tracking pixels. It also loads no fonts, scripts, or other content from advertising networks or social media services.
